2BACKGROUND OPERATIONSYour dealer can activate a variety of transceiver functions toperform without any additional operation on your part.clockIf activated by your dealer, you can view the clock by pressingthe key programmed as Clock.Note: Removing or leaving the battery pack uncharged forextended periods will clear the clock time.To set the clock:1 Press the key programmed as Clock Adjustment.• The current time setting appears.2 Press / to increase or decrease the year setting.3 Press to set the year and cycle to the month setting.4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the month, day, hour, and minute.5 Press to exit Clock Adjustment mode.• You can press at any time to exit Clock Adjustment mode.viBrAtorWhen an optional vibrator is installed, the vibrator function willalert you when an optional signaling call is received. Press thekey programmed as Vibrator, or access the Menu {page 2},to turn the Vibrator function ON and OFF.time-out timer (tot)The Time-out Timer is used to prevent you from using achannel for an extended duration. If you continuously transmitfor a preset time, the transceiver will stop transmitting and analert tone will sound. Release the PTT switch.
