• Home Channel (HOM)Press this key to jump to your home zone and channel(pre-programmed by your dealer). If activated by yourdealer, you can set your own Home Channel by selectingyour desired zone and channel, then pressing and holdingthe Home Channel key for 3 seconds.• Individual (IDV)Refer to “Making Individual Calls” on page 22.• Keyset (KST)Press this key to change the Keyset stored in a SecureCryptographic Module (SCM).• Key Delete (KDL)Refer to “deleting the encryption Key” on page 38.• Key Lock (LCK)Press and hold this key for second to lock the transceiverkeys. Press and hold the Key Lock key again to unlockthe keys. The PTT switch, Selector, Concentric switch,and Toggle switch still function normally, and the followingfunctions can still be operated: Battery Status, Emergency,Light, Monitor, Monitor Momentary, Squelch Off, Squelch OffMomentary, Function, and Speaker Attenuation.• Light (LIT)Press this key to turn the display and keypad backlighton. The backlight remains on for seconds beforeautomatically turning off. While the backlight is on,pressing any key other than the PTT switch, the Volumecontrol, or the Light key will reset the second timer. Tomanually turn the backlight off, press the Light key again.If Auto backlight is activated by your dealer, the backlightwill activate by pressing any key other than the PTT switchor the Volume control.• Low Transmit Power (LOW)When using a channel programmed with high power, pressthis key to change the output power to low. Press the LowTransmit Power key again to return to high power.
