Site trunkingOn Trunking channels, if set up by your dealer, the transceiverwill indicate a network condition on the registered site. On K2/K3/K/K/K7 model transceivers, “SITE TRUNK” appears onthe display when the transceiver receives a network disabledmessage.control chAnnel huntOn Trunking channels, the transceiver must search for acontrol channel. While searching for a control channel, nosignals can be received. The search begins automaticallywhen you change to a Trunking channel.• On K2/K3/K/K/K7 model transceivers, while hunting for achannel, the antenna icon will flash. When a control channelhas been found, the antenna icon remains on the display withoutflashing.voice AnnunciAtionWhen changing the zone and/or channel, an audio voice willannounce the new zone and channel number. The VoiceAnnunciation will not function when using the VGS- option{page }. (Voice Annunciation can be enabled or disabled byyour dealer.)ptt idPTT ID is the transceiver unique ID code which is sent eachtime the PTT switch is pressed.Note: PTT ID can be made only in FM Operation.If Beginning of Transmit is set, the ID signal is transmittedwhen you press the PTT switch.If End of Transmit is set, the ID signal is transmitted when yourelease the PTT switch.If both are set, the ID signal is transmitted when you press andrelease the PTT switch. |
