If this disturbsyour APRS activities, specify a distance from yourlocation. You will not receive APRS packets fromstations beyond this distance.Access Menu 3–7 (POSITION LIMIT) and select therange from 10 to 2500 in steps of 10, plus OFF (default).The unit is mile or kilometer depending on the selectionin Menu 3–G (MILE/KILOMETER) {page 16}.PROGRAMMING POSITION AMBIGUITYThere may be cases where you do not know or do notwant to report your precise locations. For position data,you can select the number of digits not to be included inyour packets. Access Menu 3–5 (POS AMBIGUITY) andselect 1 to 4, or OFF (default). The table shows how thedigits are cleared.PACKET MONITOR DISPLAYThis transceiver presents Terminal Window mode todisplay raw data of received APRS packets.
