PLM Series Operation Manual rev 1.1.311. Appendix7711. Appendix11.1 Faults and Warnings OverviewThe various fault or warning conditions that may arise in the PLM are indicated by the tricolor LEDs inthe eight soft function buttons around the display. Because each LED indicates several types of faults orwarnings, a brief textual description of the fault or warning type is given on the display adjacent to the softbutton(s).Sections 9.10.2 and 9.11 detail all the warning and fault indications.Table 11.1 provides additional explanation of what problems the PLM might have encountered to give rise tothe each of the fault or warning conditions. Note that some of the conditions give rise to both a warning anda fault indication; in these cases the warning is given by a yellow LED indication as the operating parameterin question approaches the safety threshold, with the fault state being indicated by the LED turning redwhen the threshold is actually reached (with a mute being applied in some cases).Warning, Fault, Clip and Mute indications, listed alphabetically by Displayed TextDisplayed Text Event Log Text Category Type DescriptionAMP CH.
