64 Audio Language, Stereo SoundAudio LanguageYou can select a language for DVDs during play if multiplelanguages are available.● Before you begin, press SELECT to put theTV/VCR/DVD in DVD mode. The green DVD light willappear on the front of the TV/VCR/DVD.1 During DVD play, press AUDIO repeatedly tochoose one of the available languages. The newaudio will be heard. The display will disappear afterabout five seconds.The Audio display may show if the DVD has DolbyDigital or multi-channel (5.1 CH) sound or show itssampling rate (48k, for example). The number ofavailable languages appears after the “ / ” at the rightof the display ( /3, for example).• If a language is not available afterpressing AUDIO several times, theDVD does not have that language.• Some DVDs only let you changethe language in the Disc menu.• Audio languages may be abbreviat-ed (such as ENG for English).
