Correctadjustment of the kerfboards helps to provideproper support of the workpiece andminimizing workpiece tear out.Maintaining maximum cuttingcapacityThis tool is factory adjustedto provide the maximum cuttingcapacity for a 165 mm saw blade. When installing anew blade, always check the lower limit positionof the blade, and ifnecessary, adjust it as follows:1. Remove the battery cartridge. Lower thehandle completely.2. Use the hex wrenchto turn the lowerlimit adjusting bolt until the saw bladecomes slightly below the cross section of the guidefence and the top surface of the turn base. ► Fig.15:1. Re-adjust slightly,if necessary.WARNING: After installing a new blade andwith the battery cartridge removed, always besure that the blade does not contact any part ofthe lower base when the handle is loweredcompletely.
