This is normally used to override dialingrestrictions at a telephone. For example, an executive with anunrestricted phone can walk to any phone in the building, implement Walking Class of Service, anddial without restriction. After the phone goes idle, Walking Class of Service remains in effect for10 seconds. This permits the user to make multiple calls before the phone returns to its normalrestrictions.Walking Class of Service overrides Extension Locking.Feature Quick StepsTo enable Walking Class of Service at an extension:1. Press ICM + ##0 + Enter your own extension number + HOLD1. Enter your PIN number + HOLD.Year 2000 ComplianceAvailability: All versions.The system provides Year 2000 Compliance. The change of thedate from one century to the next is handled by the system soft-ware and is no different than the change from one year to thenext. The day following 12/31/99 will be 01/01/00. The systemwill process the leap year correctly and will not require an upgrade or reprogramming. In addition,the SMDR report will properly show the years in the 21st century.An extension user cantemporarily use their TollRestriction and Class ofService options at aco-worker’s phone.The system is fully Y2K(Year 2000) compliant.
