For details, see SafetyPrecautions and Regulatory Notices.• Clearing CMOS memory1. Turn off the server, and disconnect the AC power cord from outlet.See Getting Started or Chapter 2 (1. Installing Internal Optional Devices) in User’s Guide to remove TopCover or Side Cover.2. Confirm the position of Clear CMOS Jumper.3. Change the jumper switch from Protect to Clear.4. Wait at least five seconds and then return the jumper switch to Protect.5. Reassemble the server.6. Plug in the power cord and turn on the server.7. POST halts with the following error message.ERROR8006: System configuration data cleared by Jumper.Press to resume, to Setup8. Press key to start BIOS Setup Utility, and then run Load Setup Defaults from Save & Exit menu.
