If the harddrive is installed in another NEC PowerMate 2000 system with securitydisabled, the system prompts you to enter the master password and then a newuser password.Moving the Hard DriveWhen a password protected hard drive is moved from its original system andinstalled in another system, error messages appear indicating that the drive islocked. Next, the Security Setup screen appears requiring the user to enter themaster password to unlock the drive. Enter the master password, whenprompted.
