5.2.5 Page 5: LFOSampler parameters – page 5 of 6: LFO and DESTINATION in the software.LFOThe LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) is another modulation source based on waveforms withdifferent shapes.LFO Controls DescriptionType Here you can choose the shape of the LFO waveform. Availableshapes are Sine, Tri (Triangle), Rect (Rectangle), Saw, and Random.Speed Controls the rate of the LFO measured in hertz (Hz). If you choose tosynchronize the Speed by activating Sync, it will show note valuesinstead of hertz.Phase Defines the initial phase of the LFO waveform, from -0.50 to 0.50.Sync The Sync selector is used to synchronize the LFO with the tempo ofyour Project. If Free is selected, the LFO rate is independent of theProject tempo. If Retrig or Lock is enabled, the values of the Speedparameter will change into note values ranging from 16/1 (= onemodulation cycle in 16 bars) to 1/32 (one cycle in 1/32nd note) andbe synced with the Project tempo. While Retrig restarts the LFO ateach new note (each note has another LFO phase), Lock keeps theLFO phase synchronized to the song position for all notes.Working with Plug-insThe Sampler Plug-inMASCHINE 2 - Manual - 213
