(Image 4)y Tighten the clamp firmly with included Allen wrench. (Image 5)SCAN FORMOUNTINGINSTRUCTIONVIDEOhttps://youtu.be/Ta0i7U-92hMSETTING THE ANGLE OF THE LIGHTy Twist the light left or right on the vertical pivot until beam pattern is in an ideal position.y The tension on the mount is meant to be firm to maintain the aim.y Once aimed, the mount allows the user to position light above or below the brim by rotatingup or down as needed.OPERATIONThe FORTEM has seven lighting modes:y Constant-on high-brightness flashlighty Medium-brightness flashlighty Low-brightness flashlighty Constant-on high-brightness floodlighty Medium-brightness floodlighty Low-brightness floodlighty Constant-on Dual-Light modeThe FORTEM has two switches, the flashlight switch (closest to the front of the light) andthe floodlight switch (closest to the rear of the light) providing access to all modes.CONSTANT-ON FLASHLIGHTPress the flashlight switch (closest to the front of the light) until it clicks and then releasefor constant-on flashlight in high-brightness mode. Press and release this same switch againto turn the light off.SELECT FLASHLIGHT BRIGHTNESS LEVELPress and hold down the flashlight switch. The flashlight will cycle from high to mediumto low and then back up again at a rate of approximately one mode per second. The light willcontinue to cycle up and down through the various modes as long as the flashlight switch isheld down. When the desired brightness level is reached, simply release the flashlight switch,and the light will remain in that brightness mode. Pressing and holding the flashlight switchagain will cause the light to cycle from whatever mode it is currently in. Press and release theflashlight switch to turn the light off.CONSTANT-ON FLOODLIGHTPress the floodlight switch (closest to the rear of the light) until it clicks and then releasefor constant-on floodlight in high-brightness mode. (Image 1)y Insert both batteries into the battery compartment paying attention to the battery orientationmarked on the back of the battery compartment door. (Image 2)y Re-install the battery compartment screw by pressing the door fully closed and thentightening the screw until it is hand tight. CAUTION: Do not cross-tread or strip the screwthreads. (Image 3)y Test the operation of the light (see OPERATION below). |
