76Editing PicturesMore on PlaybackEnhancing Brightness and Contrast: D-LightingD-Lighting can be used to create copies with enhanced brightness and contrast,brightening dark portions of a picture. Enhanced copies are stored as separate files.1 Choose the desired picture from full-frame(A30) or thumbnail (A71) playback modeand press the d button.• The playback menu is displayed.• Choose the c tab when the playback menu is notdisplayed (A13).2 Use the multi selector to choose I D-Lighting and press the k button.• The original version will be shown on the left and theedited version will be shown on the right.• If the playback menu is displayed from a mode otherthan playback mode, choose D-Lighting to display thepicture selection screen (A130).
