The higher thesensitivity, the less light needed to make an exposure. Although a high ISO ratingis suited for taking pictures of subjects in action or in poor lighting, high sensitivityis often associated with “noise” -randomly spaced, brightly colored pixelsconcentrated in dark parts of the image.At settings other than Auto, the current setting is displayed in the monitor (A 6).If Auto is selected and the sensitivity is raised above an ISO 100, the E icon willbe displayed (A 31).F Color OptionsMake colors more vivid or record pictures in monochrome.At settings other than Standard color, the icon for the current setting is displayedin the monitor (A 6).
