9 1Shooting Options: The Shooting MenuShooting, Playback and Setup MenusC Number of Exposures RemainingThe following table lists the approximate number of pictures that can be stored in internal memoryand on a 512 MB memory card. Note that the number of images that can be stored will differdepending on the composition of the image (due to JPEG compression). In addition, this numbermay differ depending on the make of memory card, even if the capacity for the memory card is thesame.1 If the number of exposures remaining is 10,000 or more, the number of exposures remainingdisplay shows “9999”.2 Print size at an output resolution of 300 dpi.Print sizes are calculated by dividing the number of pixels by printer resolution (dpi) andmultiplying by 2.54 cm (1 in.). However, even with the same image size setting, images printed athigher resolutions will print smaller than the size indicated, and those printed at lower resolutionswill print larger than the size indicated.SettingInternalmemory(approx.45 MB)Memory card1(512 MB)Print size2(cm/in.)H High (4000 P) 7 80 34 × 25/13 × 10I Normal (4000) 13 150 34 × 25/13 × 10R Normal (3264) 19 220 28 × 21/11 × 8L Normal (2592) 31 340 22 × 16/8.5 × 6.5M Normal (2048) 49 550 17 × 13/7 × 5N PC screen (1024) 159 1,700 9 × 7/3.5 × 2.5O TV screen (640) 319 3,400 5 × 4/2 × 1.5P 16:9 (1920) 73 800 16 × 9/6.5 × 3.5
