To ensure thatyour pictures are stamped with the correct time and date, display the setupmenu ( 18), then set the time and date as described below.The Clock BatteryThe clock-calendar is powered by a separate, non-rechargeable CR1616 lithium bat-tery with a life of about four years. When this battery is exhausted, a icon willbe displayed in the top control panel while the exposure meters are on. For infor-mation on replacing the clock battery, see “Technical Notes: Caring for Your Camera”( 239).CAUTIONUse only CR1616 lithium batteries. Using another type of battery could cause an ex-plosion.
