Flash CompensationFlash compensation (available only in _ S,A, and iVl modes) is used to alter flash output byfrom 3 EVto +I EV in increments of %EV, changing the brightness of the main subject relative to the background. Flash output can be increased to make the main subject appearbrighter, or reduced to prevent unwanted highlights or reflections.Flash compensation is shown in tile shooting information display.Normal flash output can be restored by setting flash cornpensation to +0.0. Flash exposure compensation is not reset when thecamera is turned off.Flashcompensation car/also be adjusted by pressing the O (_ andbuttons and rotating the command dial until the desired value is shownin the viewfinder or shooting information display.
