52Restricting incoming callsChoose Restrict incoming calls to prevent your phone fromreceiving incoming calls. Enter your security code, thenpress OK. Press Mark, then press . Press Yes to savethis change (or to cancel).Note: This feature requires the caller ID network service, andthe caller’s ID must be available to the phone in order for therestriction to work.Allowing incoming callsTo allow incoming calls once again, choose Restrict incomingcalls and enter your security code. Press Unmark, then press. Press Yes to save this change (or to cancel).Restricting outgoing callsYou can create a list of numbers to which outgoing callscannot be made. A call restriction can consist of an entirephone number, an area code, etc. When the restriction isselected, calls cannot be made to any number beginningwith those digits. For example, entering 2145551234 willblock calls to (214) 555-1234 only. 1 will block all callsstarting with 1, including long distance calls and 1-800calls. 1800 will block 1-800 calls only.Adding numbers to the restricted outgoing calls listTo prevent your phone from making outgoing calls, chooseRestrict outgoing calls. Enter your security code, then pressOK. Continue with the steps illustrated below.1 Add restriction is selected.
