The phoneautomatically tries to reconnect tothe service until you disconnect fromthe PTT service. If you have addedgroups to the phone, you areautomatically joined to the active(Default or Listened) groups, and thename of the default group isdisplayed in the standby mode.To disconnect from the PTT service,select Switch PTT off.■ Make and receive a PTTcallSet the phone to use the loudspeakeror earpiece for PTT communication.Warning: Do not hold thedevice near your ear whenthe loudspeaker is in use,because the volume may beextremely loud.When connected to the PTT service,you can make or receive dial outcalls, group calls or one-to-one calls.One-to-one calls are calls you maketo only one person.Make a dial-out PTT callFor a dial-out PTT call you can selectmultiple PTT contacts from thecontact list. The recipients get anincoming call and need to accept thecall in order to participate. Adial-out call creates a temporarygroup, and the participants join thisgroup only for the duration of thecall. After the call the temporary dialout group is deleted.Select Menu > Push to talk >Contacts list, and mark the desiredcontacts for the dial-out call.The icon behind the contact in thelist denotes current login status: ,, or indicate that the person iseither available, unavailable, orunknown; indicates that thelogin status is not available. Thelogin status is only available forsubscribed contacts. To change thesubscribed contacts, select Optionsand from the available contact listoptions, Subscribe contact orUnsubscr. contact, or if one or morecontacts are already markedSubscribe marked or Unsubscr.marked.
