Ifthe message is too large, the phonemay not be able to receive it. Somenetworks allow text messages thatinclude an Internet address whereyou can view the multimediamessage.Multimedia messaging supports thefollowing formats:• Picture: JPEG, GIF, animated GIF,and WBMP.• Sound: AMR audio.• Video clip: .3gp format withH.263 or MPEG video (QCIFresolution), WB or AMR audio.• Other: vCard (business card) andvCalendar (calendar note).The phone may not support allvariations of the file formats.You can receive multimediamessages during a call, another Javaapplication, or an active browsingsession over WCDMA data.Write and send a multimediamessageThe wireless network may limit thesize of MMS messages. If theinserted picture exceeds this limit,the device may make it smaller sothat it can be sent by MMS.1. Select Menu > Messaging >Create message > Multimedia.2. Enter your message.Your phone supports multimediamessages that contain severalpages (slides). A message cancontain a calendar note and abusiness card as attachments. Aslide can contain text, one image,and one sound clip; or text and avideo clip. To insert a slide in themessage, select New; or selectOptions > Insert > Slide.To insert a file in the message,select Insert or Options > Insert.
