Mark all themessages you want to delete, andselect Options > Delete marked.To delete all messages from a folder,select Menu > Messaging > Deletemessages > By folder and the folderto delete. Depending on the folder,the phone asks if you want to deletethe messages.To delete all messages from allfolders, select Menu > Messaging >Delete messages > All messages >Yes.■ Message settingsGeneralGeneral settings are common fortext and multimedia messages.Select Menu > Messaging >Message settings > General settingsand from the following options:Save sent messages > Yes — to setthe phone to save the sent messagesin the Sent items folder.Overwriting in sent items — to selectwhether overwriting is allowedwhen messages are sent and thememory is full.Font size — to select the font sizeused in messages.Graphical smileys > Yes — to set thephone to replace character-basedsmileys with graphical ones.Text message and SMS e-mailThe text message settings affect thesending, receiving, and viewing ofmessages.Select Menu > Messaging >Message settings > Text messagesand from the following options:Delivery reports > Yes — to ask thenetwork to send delivery reportsabout your messages (networkservice).Message centres > Add centre — toset the phone number and name ofthe message center that is requiredfor sending text messages. Youreceive this number from yourservice provider. If you select SIMmessage centre, you can view theSIM message center information.Message centre in use — to select themessage center in use.
