You will need to modify your phone’s modemconfiguration in the data or fax software so that it sends thefollowing special initialization string to the modem:To preset your phone to receive a data call:AT+CSP=1To preset your phone to receive a fax call:AT+CSP=2You should only have to make this modification once; thesesettings typically are saved as a part of your data or fax pro-gram’s settings.
