To key in the numbers,see ”Making a call” on page 11.4. When the name and number aresaved, press Done.Tip: Quick save In standbymode, key in the phonenumber. Press Options, andselect Save. Key in the name,press OK and Done.Saving multiple numbers andtext items per nameYou can save different types ofphone numbers and short text itemsper name in the phone’s internalmemory for contacts.The first number saved isautomatically set as the defaultnumber and it is indicated with aframe around the number typeindicator, for example . Whenyou select a name from contacts, forexample to make a call, the defaultnumber is used unless you selectanother number.1. Make sure that the memory inuse is either Phone or Phone andSIM. See ”Selecting settings forcontacts” on page 34.2. To access the list of names andphone numbers, press instandby mode.3. Scroll to the name saved in thephone’s internal memory for thecontact to which you want to adda new number or text item, andpress Details.4. Press Options and select Addnumber or Add detail.5. Select one of the followingnumber types General,Mobile, Home, Officeand Fax,or text types E-mail address,Web address, Postaladdress and Note.To change the number or texttype, select Change type in theoptions list.6. Key in the number or text itemand press OK to save it.7. Press Back and then Exit toreturn to standby mode.Changing the default numberPress in standby mode, scroll tothe name you want and pressDetails. Scroll to the number youwant to set as the default number.Press Options and select Set asdefault.
