See page 69.Setting up the phone for aserviceYou may receive the service settingsas an OTA message from the networkoperator or service provider thatoffers the service that you want touse. You can also key in the settingsmanually or add and edit thesettings with PC Suite.For more information and forappropriate settings, contact yournetwork operator or service providerthat offers the service that you wantto use. The settings may be available,for example, on their website.Saving the service settingsreceived as an OTA messageWhen you receive the servicesettings as an OTA message, Servicesettings received is displayed.• To save the received settings,press Options and select Save.If no settings are saved in Activeservice settings, the settings aresaved under the first freeconnection set and are alsoactivated.If there are settings saved inActive service settings, Activatesaved service settings? will bedisplayed. To activate the savedsettings, press Yes, or to savethem only, press No.• To view the received settingsfirst, press Options and selectView. To save the settings, pressSave.• To discard the received settings,press Options and select Discard.Keying in the service settingsmanually1. Press Menu, and select Services,Settings and Connectionsettings.2. Select Active service settings.3. Scroll to the connection set youwould like to activate and pressActivate.You need to activate theconnection set where you wantto save the service settings. Aconnection set is a collection ofsettings required to make aconnection to a service.
