All rights reserved. 53When the alarm time expiresThe phone will sound an alert tone,and flash Alarm! and the currenttime on the display.Press Stop to stop the alarm. If youlet the phone continue to sound thealarm for a minute or press Snooze,the alarm stops for about tenminutes and then resumes.If you have selected the radio as analarm tone, instead of Snooze thephone asks whether you want toswitch off the radio or not.If the alarm time is reached whilethe device is switched off, the deviceswitches itself on and startssounding the alarm tone. If you pressStop, the device asks whether youwant to activate the device for calls.Press No to switch off the device orYes to make and receive calls. Do notpress Yes when wireless phone usemay cause interference or danger.CalendarThe calendar helps you to keep trackof reminders, calls that you need tomake, meetings, and birthdays.The calendar uses shared memory,see ”Shared Memory” on page vi.Press Menu, and select Organiserand Calendar.Tip: To quickly open theCalendar menu, press instandby mode.Scroll to the day you want. Thecurrent day is indicated by a framearound the day. If there are anynotes set for the day, the day is inbold type. To view the day notes,press Options and select Day notes.• To view a single note, scroll to thenote you want to view, pressOptions and select View. Thenote view allows you to view thedetails of the selected note. Youcan scroll through the note.• For example, there are alsooptions for making a note, or forsending a note via IR, or as a notedirectly to another compatiblephone’s calendar or as a textmessage.There are also options fordeleting, editing, moving andrepeating a note and for copyinga note to another day.Settings to set the date, time,date or time format, or the firstday of the week. In the Auto-delete option you can set thephone to delete old notesautomatically after a specifiedtime. However, the repeat notes,for example, birthday notes, willnot be deleted.
