A Bluetooth connectioncan be used to send images, videos, texts, businesscards, and calendar notes, or it can be used toconnect wirelessly to compatible devices supportingthe same Bluetooth protocols, such as computers.Since devices using Bluetooth technologycommunicate using radio waves, your phone andthe other devices do not need to be in directline-of-sight. The two devices only need to bewithin a maximum of 30 feet (10 meters) of eachother, although the connection can be subject tointerference from obstructions such as walls orfrom other electronic devices.When you activate a Bluetooth connection for the first time, you are asked togive a name to your phone.Bluetooth device compatibilityThis phone is designed to be compliant with and to adopt BluetoothSpecification 1.1. However, interoperability between the phone and otherproducts with Bluetooth wireless technology depends also on the profiles andprotocols used. To ensure interoperability between other devices supportingBluetooth technology, use Nokia approved enhancements for this phone. Checkwith the manufacturers of other devices to determine their compatibility withthis device.
