You can add up toten voice tags. Voice tags use sharedmemory, see ”Shared memory” onpage ix.Before using voice dialling, notethat:• Voice tags are not languagedependent. They are dependenton the speaker's voice.• Voice tags are sensitive tobackground noise. Record themand make calls in a quietenvironment.• When recording a voice tag ormaking a call by saying a voicetag, hold the phone in the normalposition near to your ear.• Very short names are notaccepted. Use long names andavoid similar names for differentnumbers.Note: You must say thename exactly as you said itwhen you recorded it. Thismay be difficult in, forexample, a noisyenvironment or during anemergency, so you shouldnot rely solely upon voicedialling in all circumstances.Adding and managing voicetagsSave or copy in the phone’s memorythe contacts to which you want toadd a voice tag.1. In standby mode, press , andscroll to the contact to which youwant to add a voice tag.2. Press Details, scroll to the phonenumber that you want and selectthe option Add voice tag.3. Press Start, and say clearly theword(s) that you want to recordas a voice tag. After recording,the phone plays the recorded tag.The symbol appears after thephone number with a voice tag.Making a call by using a voicetagIf the phone has an applicationrunning that is sending or receivingdata using the GPRS connection,first end the application to make acall by using voice dialling.In standby mode, press and hold thevolume-down key, or press and holdthe selection key . Say thevoice tag clearly. The phone plays therecognised voice tag and then dialsthe phone number of the voice tagafter 1.5 seconds.
