ConnectivityPairing with a device1 Open the Control panel application and selectBluetooth. You can also pair devices before transmittingdata.2 Tap Paired devices. Paired devices are shown in the list.3 Tap Search to open the Search for devices dialog. If youhave searched for Bluetooth devices earlier, a list of thedevices that were found previously is shown first.4 Tap Start to update the found devices list, if necessary,select the device you want to pair with, and tap Pair.5 Write the passcode and tap OK.To assign short names for paired devices, open theControl panel application, select Bluetooth, then tapPaired devices. Select the device whose name youwant to change and tap Edit. You can define ashort name (nickname, alias) to help you recognisea certain device. This name is stored in the devicememory and cannot be seen by other Bluetooth deviceusers.Tip: Choose a name that is easy to remember andrecognise. Later when you are searching for devices ora device is requesting a connection, the name you havechosen will be used to identify the device.To cancel pairing, open the Control panel application,To authorise paired devices, open the Control panelapplication, select Bluetooth, then tap Paired devices.Select the paired device you want to authorise and tapEdit. Clear the Confirm connection requests: check box.Connections between your smartphone and the otherdevice can be made without your knowledge.No separate acceptance or authorisation is needed.Use this status for your own devices, for example, yourown PC, or devices that belong to someone you trust.The icon is added next to authorised devices inthe list of devices. To set paired devices to beunauthorised, select the Confirm connection requests:check box. Connection requests from this device needto be accepted separately every time.Connecting your smartphone to acompatible computerYou can connect your smartphone to a compatible PC withthe supplied DKU-2 connectivity cable.
