ProfilesProfilesGo to Desk > Profiles.Profiles define the tones and sound level of yoursmartphone for different operating environments, events,and caller groups.To change a profile, select the profile from the list andtap Activate.To delete a profile, select the profile from the list,press , and select Profile > Delete. Note that thedefault profiles cannot be deleted.Tip: You can also change profiles by briefly pressing thepower key.To create a new profile, press , and selectProfile > New.... For more information on the settings,see “Editing profiles” on page 46.To define the time when the selected profile expires,tap Set time. Tap , and then use the arrows tochange the time. When the end time is reached thepreviously used profile is taken back into use. Note thatdue to safety reasons the Flight profile cannot be timed.sent with the call and your smartphone recognises it).Other callers are handled using the Silent profile.To use your smartphone without connecting to theGSM wireless network, select the Flight profile, andtap Activate. If the smartphone has been locked, enter thelock code.If you need to make an emergency call whilethe smartphone is locked and in flight profile, you maybe also be able to enter an emergency numberpreprogrammed in your smartphone at the lock codefield and tap Call. The smartphone will confirm that youare about to exit flight profile to start an emergencycall.
