To send the message, select Send.See “Message sending”, p. 17.■ SIM messagesSIM messages are text messages that aresaved to your SIM card. You can copy ormove those messages to the phone memory,but not vice versa. Received messages aresaved to the phone memory.To read SIM messages, select Menu >Messaging > Options > SIM messages.■ Multimedia messagesNote: Only devices that havecompatible features can receiveand display multimedia messages.The appearance of a message mayvary depending on the receivingdevice.To check availability and to subscribe to themultimedia messaging service (MMS),contact your service provider. See“Multimedia messages”, p. 26.A multimedia message can contain text,sound, pictures, video clips, a business card,and a calendar note. If the message is toolarge, the phone may not be able to receiveit. Some networks allow text messages thatinclude an internet address where you canview the multimedia message.You cannot receive multimedia messagesduring a call or an active browsing sessionover GSM data. Because delivery ofmultimedia messages can fail for variousreasons, do not rely solely upon them foressential communications.Write and send a MMSmessageThe wireless network may limit the size ofMMS messages. If the inserted pictureexceeds this limit, the device may make itsmaller so that it can be sent by MMS.1. Select Menu > Messaging > Createmessage > Multimedia.
