If you choose to access them, youshould take the same precautions, forsecurity or content, as you would with anyinternet site.■ PresenterThe presenter enables you to control slidepresentations (compatible with MicrosoftOffice PowerPoint), a software DVD, an MP3player, or other PC applications remotelyfrom your device.To use applications other than slidepresentations and desktop mode, you mustcreate a corresponding custom profile onthe PC application.Before you can use the application you mustdo the following:1. Install the Nokia Presenter PCapplication on your PC. This componentis available for download on the Nokiawebsite. See “Nokia Care Online”, p. 76.2. Launch and configure the PCcomponent. Make sure that the selectedincoming Bluetooth serial port (COMport) corresponds to the one defined inthe Bluetooth software settings on theBluetooth device of your PC. For details,refer to the PC componentdocumentation and “Set up a Bluetoothconnection”, p. 37.3. Open the slide presentation, or start theapplication you want to control remotelyfrom your phone.Select Apps. > Collection > Presenter >Connect and the device you want toconnect to.When the Bluetooth Connection Successfuldialog appears on your PC screen, you mustclick on it to confirm the Bluetoothconnection.The list of available application types isdisplayed. Select Open to access the desiredapplication. Select Options > Settings to setthe Speaker notes size for the speaker notes,and Presentation timer (in minutes) tooptimise the slide presentation timeavailable. To save the settings, selectOptions > Back.After you select the slide presentation,browse or skip slides, or jump ahead by usingthe scroll key. To view your speaker notes,select Notes. To point things out on theslides, select Pointer to activate a smallblack round marker that you control withthe scroll key. Select Options > Slide list toreturn to the slide list. Select Options >Applications list to return to the list ofapplications.To control the mouse pointer (the cursor)remotely from the phone, select the desktopmode. After you open the desktop, the phoneautomatically controls your mouse pointer.To return to the list of applications, selectOptions > Applications list.To quit the presenter, select Options > Exit.
