If you install plug-ins, the WWW application activates themwhen necessary.1 Go to the WWW page where the add-on software package exists.2 Select the hyperlink that points to the software package.3 Press Go to fetch the package. After the software package has beensuccessfully fetched, the software installation view opens.Press Install. If there is sufficient memory available, the software will beinstalled.TerminalThe Terminal application is started in the Internet main view by selectingTerminal and pressing Select. The Terminal application is used to connectdirectly, not via the Internet, to a remote computer by way of a data call.The Terminal main view shows the defined Terminal connections. The Terminalapplication is similar to the Telnet application, in that both of them emulatethe VT100 terminal display. See figure 10.To connect with a pre-defined Terminal connection, select the connection andpress Connect.To create new or edit existing connections, press Define.To change the settings for incoming data calls, press Settings, select thesetting and press Change. The available settings are:Local echo for incoming data call — If set to On, characters typed from thecommunicator keyboard are echoed locally to the communicator. If set to Off,they are echoed to the remote host computer.Caution: Beware of viruses. Onlyinstall on the communicatorsoftware you have obtained fromsources that offer adequateprotection against viruses.
