EAP plug-ins areused in wireless networks to authenticate wirelessdevices and authentication servers.EGPRS Enhanced GPRS. EGPRS is similar to GPRS, but it enablesfaster connection. As GPRS uses the network efficiently, itallows for quick data connection setup and fast datatransmission speeds.You must subscribe to the GPRS service. For availabilityand subscription to GPRS, contact your serviceprovider.During a voice call, you cannot establish a GPRSconnection, and any existing GPRS connection is put onhold unless the network supports dual transfer mode.GPS Global positioning system. GPS is a worldwide radionavigation system.HSDPA High-speed downlink packet access. HSDPA bringshigh-speed data delivery to 3G terminals, ensuring thatusers requiring effective multimedia capabilitiesbenefit from data rates previously unavailable becauseof limitations in the radio access network.HTTP Hypertext transfer protocol. A document transferprotocol used in the web.HTTPS HTTP over a secure connection.IMAP4 Internet mail access protocol, version 4.
