Your deviceconnects from a mobile network, through the Internet,to a corporate VPN gateway that acts as a front door tothe compatible corporate network. VPN client uses IPSecurity (IPSec) technology. IPSec is a framework ofopen standards for supporting secure exchange of dataover IP networks.VPN policies define the method used by VPN client anda VPN gateway to authenticate each other, and theencryption algorithms that they use to help protect theconfidentiality of data. Contact your corporation for aVPN policy.To use VPN with an application, the application must beassociated with a VPN access point. A VPN access pointis made up of an Internet access point and a VPN policy.To manage VPN, select VPN management > Options >Email data roamingSelect Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Accesspoint groups.Your device allows roaming between wireless accesstechnologies, such as WLAN and GPRS, for e-mail. Forexample, you can start an e-mail session at home andcontinue the session on your way to work. While yoursession continues uninterrupted, your handheld deviceswitches from WLAN to GPRS and back to WLAN whenyou arrive at your workplace.Access point groupsTo create an access point group, select Access pointgroups > Options > New group. In the Group name field,enter a name for the group. Define in the Conn.switching field whether to show the connectionswitching process on the display of your device.
