Cable connectionInstall the USB data cable driver to your PC before youuse a cable connection. You can use the Data transferwithout installing the USB data cable drivers.Select Menu > Connect. > Data cbl..Using a USB data cable, you can connect your device toa compatible PC . Connect the USB data cable to thebottom of the device. To change the device type younormally connect to your device with the data cable,press the joystick.Select from the following:• Ask on connection — Select whether you want to beasked for the device type every time you connect thedata cable to your device.• PC Suite — Connect the PC Suite to your device withthe data cable, and use your device as a modem.• Data transfer — Access and transfer data such asmusic or image files from your computer using thedata cable connection. To use the Data transfermode, make sure that you have not selected USB asdevice returns to the profile in which it was beforeusing the data transfer mode.• IP passthrough — Select an access point throughwhich to transfer data using the Internet protocol.To save your selection, select Back.BluetoothThere may be restrictions on using Bluetoothtechnology in some locations.
