1. Select Options > New paired device. The device startsto search for Bluetooth devices within range. If you havesent data using Bluetooth connectivity before, a list of theprevious search results is displayed. To search for moreBluetooth devices, select More devices.2. Select the device with which you want to pair, and enterthe passcode. The same passcode must be entered to theother device as well.3. Select Yes to make the connection between your deviceand the other device automatic, or No to confirm theconnection manually every time a connection attempt ismade. After pairing, the device is saved to the paireddevices page.To give a nickname to the paired device, select Options >Assign short name. The nickname is displayed in yourdevice.To delete a pairing, select the device whose pairing you wantto delete and Options > Delete. To delete all pairings, selectOptions > Delete all. If you are currently connected to adevice and cancel the pairing with that device, pairing isremoved immediately, and the connection is ended.To allow a paired device to connect automatically to yourdevice, select Set as authorized. Connections between yourdevice and the other device can be made without yourknowledge. No separate acceptance or authorization isneeded. Use this status only for your own devices, such asyour compatible headset or computer, or devices that belongto someone you trust. If you want to accept connectionrequests from the other device separately every time, selectSet as unauthorized.To use a Bluetooth audio accessory such as a Bluetoothhandsfree or headset, you need to pair your device with theaccessory. For the passcode and further instructions, see theaccessory user guide. To connect to the audio accessory,switch on the accessory. Some audio accessories connectautomatically to your device. Otherwise, open the paireddevices tab, select the accessory and Options > Connect toaudio device.Block devicesSelect Menu > Control panel > Connectivity >Bluetooth.1. To block a device from establishing a Bluetoothconnection to your device, open the paired devices tab.2. Select a device you want to block and Options > Block.To allow the pairing of a device again after it was blocked,delete it from the blocked devices list.Open the blocked devices tab, and select Options >Delete.If you reject a pairing request from another device, you areasked if you want to block all future connection requests fromthis device. If you accept the query, the remote device isadded to the list of blocked devices.Security tipsOperating the device in hidden mode is a safer way to avoidmalicious software.
