GB 18VIEWING MODEGeneral InformationThe following describes the basic functions of your Mediamasterwhile watching satellite TV or listening to satellite radio.Some of the functions described here are dependent on theService Provider and can only be used if they are included inthe transmitted programme information.While viewing, the current channel number will be shown on thefront panel display.In addition to the normal functions like switching the Media-master in/out of stand-by, changing the volume etc. (ref. to theoverview of the remote control) there are some other useful func-tions which will be explained in this part of the manual.Without affecting any menu settings described here you can al-ways return to watch TV by pressing the EXIT button.Programme InformationEvery time you change channels you will receive programme in-formation for a few seconds. (In the “User Preferences” menuyou can select how long this information will be shown.)The information may include:Current time.Channel list.Channel number and name.Name of the current and next programme.The start and total time of the current programme.A bar, indicating the elapsed time of the current programme.Recommended lowest age limit for watching the programme.The start and total time of the next programme.Programme information will only be available if it is included inthe transmission. Otherwise a “No information available” mes-sage will be shown.You may change channel lists with the buttons.Information aboutthe next programmeInformation about thecurrent programmeChannel numberand nameCurrenttimeChannellistAge limitinformationAutomatically downloaded informationDuring a TV transmission it may happen that information auto-matically will be downloaded and shown on the TV screen. Some-times the figure to the right may show up during the download-ing procedure. When the information is finished, the box will re-turn to show the TV programme again.You can turn off a downloaded information and return to watchTV again by pressing one of the P+ /P - buttons.
