GB 57MAIN MENUIndicates a recording eventImportant information related to the timer recordingIf you program the box to perform a timer recording e.g. in themiddle of the night (or at any other unsuitable time), be sure toturn the TV set off with the mechanical switch located on the TV!If you turn the TV set off by just putting it into standby mode withthe remote controll, it will be turned on at the time for the record-ing!Timer setup• Select Timer from the Main Menu.• Press OK to enter the Timer Setup menu from where youmake the settings.• First, select Channel List with the buttons.• Then, step to Channel to select desired TV/Radio channel.• The present date (month/day) will automatically be preset.When you change month and day, always use two digits foreach of them.• If you enter a wrong digit you can erase it with the button.The different start times may never overlap each other. If you tryto enter a start or stop time within an already occupied period oftime you will get a warning message about it.• On the last line you select the Action. When you want anevent to be recorded on the built in hard disk at the date andtime you entered, select Record. Events that you want to berecorded this way will be marked with a red symbol in theTimer list.Do not forget to ensure that you have enough space on thedisk at the time for the recording to take place.• If you just want to be reminded of a programme start,or whenyou want to make a traditional analogue (VCR) recording, se-lect View.Up to 9 different events can be predefined. The events will besorted in start time order.At each stop time the box will return to the state it had before itstarted.You can erase a predefined event by pressing the button twice.(If you regret the command after the first press, go to another lineby pressing either or and the event will not be erased.)
