The predictive text dictionary isnot available for all languages.Welcome note / logo—The welcome note or logo isdisplayed briefly each time you switch on the device.Select Default to use the default image, Text to write awelcome note, or Image to select an image from Gallery.Orig. phone settings—You can reset some of the settingsto their original values. To do this, you need the lock code.See ‘Security’, ‘Phone and SIM’, p. 101. After resetting, thedevice may take a longer time to power on. Documents andfiles are unaffected.Standby modeActive standby—Use shortcuts to applications in thestandby mode. See ‘Active standby mode’, p. 93.Left selection key—Assign a shortcut to the left selectionkey ( ) in the standby mode.Right selection key—Assign a shortcut to the rightselection key ( ) in the standby mode.Active standby apps.—Select the application shortcutsyou want to appear in the active standby. This setting isonly available if Active standby is on.You can also assign keypad shortcuts for the differentpresses of the scroll key. The scroll key shortcuts are notavailable if the active standby is on.Operator logo—This setting is only available if you havereceived and saved an operator logo. Select Off if you donot want the logo to be shown.DisplayLight sensor—Adjust the basic brightness level of thedisplay to lighter or darker. However, in extreme lightconditions, the brightness of the display is automaticallyadjusted.Power saver time-out—Select the time-out period afterwhich the power saver is activated.Sleep mode—Select whether the display is switched off tosave battery power 20 minutes after the power saver isactivated. When the display is switched off, a LED blinksto indicate that the device is powered on.Light time-out—Select a time-out after which thebacklight of the display is switched off.Call settingsSend my caller ID—You can set your phone number to bedisplayed to (Yes) or hidden from (No) the person to whomyou are calling, or the value may be set by your networkoperator or service provider when you make a subscription(Set by network) (network service).
