See "Settings", p. 154.Access codesIf you forget any of the access codes, contact yourservice provider.● Personal identification number (PIN) code — Thiscode protects your SIM card againstunauthorised use. The PIN code (4 to 8 digits) isusually supplied with the SIM card. After threeconsecutive incorrect PIN code entries, the codeis blocked, and you need the PUK code to unblockit.● UPIN code — This code may be supplied with theUSIM card. The USIM card is an enhanced versionof the SIM card and is supported by UMTS mobilephones.● PIN2 code — This code (4 to 8 digits) is suppliedwith some SIM cards, and is required to accesssome functions in your device.● Lock code (also known as security code) — Thelock code helps you to protect your deviceagainst unauthorised use. You can create andchange the code, and set the device to requestthe code. Keep the new code secret and in a safeplace separate from your device.
