In Messaging, you cancreate, send, receive, view, edit, and organize textmessages, multimedia messages, e-mail messages, andspecial text messages containing data. You can alsoreceive messages and data using Bluetooth connectivity orinfrared, receive web service messages, cell broadcastmessages, and send service commands.To create a new message, select New message.Only devices that have compatible features can receiveand display multimedia messages. The appearance of amessage may vary depending on the receiving device.Messaging contains the following folders:Inbox — Received messages, except e-mail and cellbroadcast messages, are stored here. E-mail messages arestored in the Mailbox.My folders — Organize your messages into folders.Tip! To avoid rewriting messages that you send often,use texts in the templates folder.Mailbox — Connect to your remote mailbox to retrieveyour new e-mail messages or view your previously retrievede-mail messages offline. See "E-mail", on page 43.Drafts — Draft messages that have not been sent arestored here.Sent — The last 20 messages that have been sent,excluding messages sent using Bluetooth connectivity orinfrared, are stored here. To change the number ofmessages to be saved, see "Other settings", on page 45.Outbox — Messages waiting to be sent aretemporarily stored here.Example: Messages are placed in the outbox, forexample, when your device is outside network coverage.You can also schedule e-mail messages to be sentthe next time you connect to your remote mailbox.Reports — You can request the network to send youa delivery report of the text messages and multimediamessages you have sent (network service). Receiving adelivery report of a multimedia message that has beensent to an e-mail address may not be possible.Tip!
