When you viewmessages online, you are continuously connected to aremote mailbox using a data connection. See also"Connection", on page 99.To view previously retrieved e-mail messages offline,select No. When you view e-mail messages offline, yourdevice is not connected to the remote mailbox.Retrieve e-mail messagesIf you are offline, select Options > Connect to start aconnection to the remote mailbox.Important: Exercise caution when openingmessages. E-mail messages may containmalicious software or otherwise be harmful toyour device or PC.1 When you have an open connection to a remotemailbox, select Options > Retrieve e-mail and one ofthe following:New — to retrieve all new e-mail messagesSelected — to retrieve only the e-mail messages thathave been markedAll — to retrieve all messages from the mailboxTo stop retrieving messages, select Cancel.2 After you retrieve the e-mail messages, you cancontinue viewing them online, or select Options >Disconnect to close the connection and view thee-mail messages offline.E-mail status indicators are as follows:The new e-mail (offline or online mode) has notbeen retrieved to your device.
