Mobile Communication Client 3100 for BlackBerry and Nokia 81The URI incoming for the SIP INVITE for the call is:sip:+31123456789@domain.com;user=phoneThe digits sent on the outgoing trunk are: 0123456789Example 2 within North AmericaAC1=8, CNTC=1, NATC=1, INTC=011The URI incoming for the SIP INVITE for the call is:sip: +12125551212@domain.com;user=phoneThe digits sent on the outgoing trunk are: 812125551212PCA configurationEach MCC 3100 for BlackBerry and Nokia instance is represented by aCall Server PCA.The Primary DN of the PCA determines the user’s published addresses:both private electronic serial number (ESN) and public direct inward dialingDID (for example, Primary DN: 5335 contributes to the ESN address3435335 and DID address +16139675335).The mobility HLOC is a prefix to all mobile user identities on the PCA targetDN. The main purpose of the Mobility HLOC is to provide a digit sequencethat is unique within the SIP domain to identify a MCC 3100 for WindowsMobile client that does not conflict with the existing dial plan and routingconfiguration for their CDP and UDP numbers. The Target DN of the PCA extends the user’s incoming calls to mobileclients that are accessible through SIP domain. A typical setup wouldbe AC1 + Mobility Home Location (HLOC) + the user’s ESN number (forexample, Target DN: 65553435335).ATTENTIONIt can be necessary to increase the Forward No Answer (FNA) timeout forMCC 3100 for Blackberry/Nokia users. The PCA extends all calls to theMCG 3100. The MCG 3100 then presents the incoming call to the MCC 3100clients over the cellular data channel of the MCC 3100 (using HTTP/HTTPS).It can take a few seconds for the data transmission to reach the client dependingon the current state of the mobile phone. If the FNA timeout is too short users donot have reasonable time to (potentially log on) and answer the call before the callserver invokes FNA and sends the call to the FNA destination.Caller ID tableAll CS 1000 telephones use the Caller ID table. The Caller ID table isrequired for the MCC 3100 to correctly build the Caller ID (CLID) for bothPrivate network and Public network calls from a number or extension.Nortel Mobile Communication 3100 Series PortfolioNortel Mobile Communication Gateway 3100 — AdministrationNN42030-600 01.04 StandardRelease 2.0 14 November 2007Copyright © 2007, Nortel Networks.
