Uninstalling and Upgrading Recorder Standard 3.076 Nortel TDM RecorderUninstalling RecorderUninstall the TDM Recorder using Windows’ Add/Remove Programsfeature. Because TDM Recorder components were installed in two stages,you must uninstall in stages. This means that you must uninstall Stage 2components before uninstalling Stage 1 components.ATTENTION! You should back up all data before uninstalling.To uninstall the Recorder:1 Backup all data.2 In Windows, click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs andscroll to Nortel Contact Recording - TDM Recorder (Stage 2) and clickRemove.Note: You must uninstall Stage 2 before uninstalling Stage 1.Tip: If you have the default MSDE database installed, you will be asked ifyou wish to uninstall the database. It is recommended that you do notuninstall the database (unless it is damaged), as you will lose all data.3 After Stage 2 components have successfully uninstalled (this takesabout 20 minutes), click Start > Control Panel > Add/RemovePrograms again and scroll to Nortel Contact Recording - TDM Recorder(Stage 1) and click Remove.Note: If the Install Wizard asks to restart the computer between stages,click No when prompted to restart the computer.4 After Stage 1 components have successfully uninstalled, click Yes whenprompted to restart the computer.
