Select the file or folder that you want to move.2. With the mouse button down, drag the file or folder to the new location.3. Release the mouse button.Deleting Files and FoldersTo delete a file or a folder (and all of its contents) from a ThinApp application, perform the following steps:Task: To delete a file or folder:1. Select the file or folder in the VMware ThinApp Application tree that you want to delete.2. Select Delete from the context menu. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.3. Click Yes. The selected file or folder is deleted.Caution • If you choose to delete a folder, you are also deleting all of the files and subfolders that the foldercontains from the entire Project, not just from the ThinApp application.Note • You cannot delete predefined folders. You can only turn off the display of those folders. For moreinformation, see Controlling the Display of Predefined Folders.Controlling the Display of Predefined FoldersOn the Files & Folders page, the VMware ThinApp Application tree initially displays the more commonly usedpredefined folders, such as [ProgramFilesFolder] and [CommonFilesFolder].These predefined folders are dynamic, meaning that they do not use hard-coded paths. The value for eachdestination folder is obtained from the operating system of the target machine.You can control which predefined folders are listed in this tree.
