16 GroupWise 7 Troubleshooting 1: Error MessagesAction: After exiting all the agents, unload the agent engine (gwenn5.nlm), thenperform the update. See “Updating Your GroupWise 6.x System to Version 7”in “Update” in the GroupWise 7 Installation Guide.Possible Cause: If this error occurs when starting the GroupWise client, the user might haveexceeded the limit of viewable 65,000 items per folder. Remember that Trashis considered a folder.Action: Delete items or move them to a different folder. Empty the Trash.Possible Cause: If this error occurs when manually addressing a message to multiple externalrecipients, the user might have typed one or more addresses incorrectly in sucha way that the client exceeded available memory trying to resolve theerroneous external addresses. For example, leaving out the at (@) sign cancause this problem.Action: Users should select recipients from the Address Book whenever possible. Ifusers must type external addresses, care should be used to type the addressescorrectly, especially in cases where the number of recipients is large.Possible Cause: If this error occurs in the GroupWise client in Remote mode, GroupWise mightnot be installed correctly on the remote computer.Action: Reinstall GroupWise on the remote computer.
