4.2.5 Customizing PatternsPatterns can be set by recording the movement of the PTZ. You can call the pattern to make the PTZ movementaccording to the predefined path.Steps:1. Enter the PTZ Control interface.Menu > Camera > PTZ2. Choose pattern number in the dropdown list.3. Click the Start button and click corresponding buttons in the control panel to move the PTZ camera, andclick the Stop button to stop it.The movement of the PTZ is recorded as the pattern.4.2.6 Calling PatternsFollow the procedure to move the PTZ camera according to the predefined patterns.Steps:1. Click the button PTZ in the lower-right corner of the PTZ setting interface;Or press the PTZ button on the front panel or click the PTZ Control icon in the quick setting bar, orselect the PTZ option in the right-click menu to show the PTZ control panel.2. Click the Stop Pattern button to stop calling it.4.2.7 Customizing Linear Scan LimitThe Linear Scan can be enabled to trigger the scan in the horizantal direction in the predefined range.NOTEThis function is supported by some certain models.Steps:1. Enter the PTZ Control interface.Menu > Camera > PTZ2. Use the directional button to wheel the camera to the location where you want to set the limit, and clickthe Left Limit or Right Limit button to link the location to the corresponding limit.NOTEThe speed dome starts linear scan from the left limit to the right limit, and you must set the left limiton the left side of the right limit, as well the angle from the left limit to the right limit should be nomore than 180º.31
