Printing Basic Operation●● Turning On/Off the PowerPower Supply ConditionsThe power supply must meet the followingconditions:Current: 110–127 V AC(Range 99–140 V AC)220–240 V AC(Range 198–264 V AC)Frequency: 50/60 Hz ± 2%Note● If the power supply is unstable, use a voltage regulator.● The maximum power consumption of this printer is 1400W. Ensure that the power supply is sufficient to operatethis printer.● We do not guarantee operation where an uninterruptiblepower system (UPS) or inverter is used. Do not use anuninterruptible power system (UPS) or inverter.WARNINGThere is a risk ofgetting an electricshock and/or causingfire.● Be sure to turn off the power supply switch whenattaching or removing the AC cable.● Be sure to plug in and unplug the AC cable whileholding on to the power supply plug.● Insert the AC cable plug completely into the wallsocket securely.● Do not touch the power cord, or printer, if yourhands are wet.● Install a power cord in the place which is notstepped on, and do not place a thing on a powercord.● Do not use the cord tied in a bundle.● Please do not use the damaged power cord.● Do not use multi-outlet adapters.● Do not connect this printer and other electricproducts to the same wall socket. If it isconnected simultaneously with an air conditioner,copier, shredder, etc., the printer may malfunctionby the electric noise. When you connect withthe same wall socket unavoidably, please use acommercial noise filter or a commercial noise cuttransformer.● Use the power cord supplied to the printer andplug it directly into a wall socket. Do not use thepower cord for other product for the printer.● Do not use an extension cord. When you use itunavoidably, use the thing more than rated 15 A.● Use of an extended code may not operate aprinter normally by AC voltage descent.● During printing, do not shut off a power supply ordo not pull out a power supply plug.● When you use it neither for consecutive holidaysnor a travel for a long time, pull out a power cord.● Do not use the supplied power cord to the otherproducts.Turning On the Power1 Plug the AC cable (1) into the AC powersocket of your printer.12 Plug the AC cable into the electricsocket.3 Hold down the power switch (2) forabout 1 second to turn on the power.2The Power switch LED indicator lights up whenthe printer turns on. The message “Ready ToPrint” is displayed in the operator panel onceprinter is ready.
