(1st tray)Check item Check work Action to be takenat NG(3-1-1) Check condition of the paper running pathPaper running pathof the front unitOpen the front cover check if paper is notjammed in the paper running path.Remove thejammed paper.(3-1-2) Check condition of the mechanical partsCheck the sensorlevers of the paperentrance sensor1 and the paperentrance sensor 2.Check if shape and movement of the sensorlevers have any abnormality or not.Replace thesensor leverwith the goodsensor lever.(3-1-3) Check condition of electrical partsCheck the detectioncondition of thesensor signal.Confirm that the sensor signals are normallydetected by using the Maintenance MenuSWITCH SCAN function.Replace eitherthe PU boardor the frontsensor board(RSF PCB)or connectioncable.Check output signallevel of the paperentrance sensor1 and that of thepaper entrancesensor 2.Check for the following signals at the FSNSconnector of the PU board.Pin-4: Paper entrance sensor 1Pin-3: Paper entrance sensor 2Confirm that the above signal levels changewhen the sensor lever is operated.Replace thefront sensorboard (RSFPCB)Check the powervoltages suppliedto the front sensorboard (RSF PCB)Check the 5V power at the FSNS connectorof the front sensor board (RSF PCB).Pin-1: 5V power supplyPin-5: 0VLReplace theconnectioncable.(3-2) Jam occurs immediately after the paper feed is started.
