With the colored toner release lever (1) to the right, pull thelever towards you. This will release the bond between the tonercartridge and the image drum cartridge. Do nottouch it and do not expose it to normal room light formore than 5 minutes. If the drum unit needs to be outof the MFP for longer than this, please wrap thecartridge inside a black plastic bag to keep it awayfrom light. Never expose the drum to direct sunlightor very bright room lighting.1
